The Coopérative de développement régional du Québec (CDRQ) has a mandate to support and promote the creation and development of cooperatives in all regions of Quebec. It deploys its expertise through its coaching service to existing cooperatives as well as to promoters of new projects who wish to start their own social enterprises. In addition to the CDRQ's cooperative coaching services, the diversity and experience of our team has allowed for the development of powerful tools and the addition of high value-added services developed for the benefit of coopératives and social enterprises.
Through a partnership with the Regional Development Network (RDN) and financing from the Secrétariat aux relations avec les Québécois d’expression anglaise, the CDRQ is currently expanding its services to be accessible in all regions to the English-speaking communities of Quebec. The Social Solidarity Economy English-speaking Network (SEEnet) launched by RDN will work collaboratively with the CDRQ in the expansion of their service offerings.
SEEnet will promote entrepreneurial approaches and facilitate the active participation of the English-speaking communities of Quebec in the social solidarity economy. Through this partnership the CDRQ will be able to support the integration of English-speaking communities into Quebec’s social solidarity economy ecosystem.
The CDRQ, with its head office in Quebec City and 10 regional offices throughout Quebec, has over 30 employees dedicated to collective social entrepreneurship.
